In my 15 years as a personal trainer in Edinburgh, the most important lesson I’ve learned is that rapport between trainer and client is what makes personal training work.
My job is to get to know you as a person, understand your strengths and what you want to achieve, and earn your trust. Then, with a programme that fits your unique needs and circumstances, you enjoy your training and get more from it.
It’s a very personal approach, and it works. Many of my clients have been with me for 10 years or more. Some are competitive sports people. Others just want to make fitness a bigger part of life, and enjoy the benefits.
